The Victaulic Style 905 Coupling is designed to join plain ends of HDPE pipe without the need for pipe inserts. It uses Victaulic patented Installation Ready technology to eliminate loose parts. Coupling gaskets are constructed with EPDM and are suitable for hot and cold potable water service. They are not suitable for petroleum or steam service. Painted finish.
Dual rows of stainless steel teeth engage into the outside diameter of plain end HDPE as coupling housing halves are tightened bolt pad to bolt pad, allowing for visual confirmation of correct assembly. Couplings for HDPE pipe can be direct buried without compromising performance. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel, retaining rings provide a fully restrained joint that meets the pressure ratings of the pipe itself.
