SJE Rhombus SJE Float Switch Cord Seals

SJE Float Switch Cord Seals come in two distinct models to provide a neat and watertight seal for multiple float switch wires going into an electrical junction box.

These cord seals completely eliminate the need for messy and leaky duct seal and silicone sealant around float switch wires going into any electrical cabinet.

SJE Part #1008517 is a four cable cord seal. It is ideal for sealing up to four float switch wires into a junction box near the lift station. The outside of the cord seal device fits neatly into the hub (female) end of any 1 1/2″ IPS fitting. It also fits into the inside of any Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 IPS pipe. Tightening the nut on the cord seal simultaneously compresses the neoprene plug against the wires and against the inside of the pipe fitting, creating a watertight seal.

SJE Part #1037126 is a six cable cord seal. It is ideal for sealing up to six float switch wires into a junction box near the lift station. The outside of the cord seal device fits neatly into the hub (female) end of any 2″ IPS fitting. Tightening the nut on the cord seal simultaneously compresses the neoprene plug against the wires and against the inside of the pipe fitting, creating a watertight seal.

Both SJE Cord Seals include PVC Plugs for unused cable positions. A ground wire is attached to the stainless steel compression plate. SJE Cord Seals accommodate: SJOW & SJTW: 18/2, 18/3, 16/2, 16/3, 14/2 and 14/3. wire sizes.
