The Model GDR-400-1 HCP Submersible Residual Pump is suitable for flat roof, pool cover and other shallow areas that require residual dewatering to within 1/16″ The GDR-400-1 has a carbon/ceramic upper side and silicon/silicon lower side seal in an oil filled chamber filled with food grade oil. The motor frame and volute are made with aluminum. The impeller is urethane rubber. The motor is equipped with a built-in thermal protector to prevent pump overheating.
A versatile feature of this pump is the removable discharge connection which allows the pump discharge orientation to be either horizontal (for flat roof or pool cover pump-out) or vertical discharge (for basement floor or residual water in storage tanks).
